Comments Off on The ENVY OF ANGELS paperback is now available to pre-order!
Hey, folks. If you missed it, several weeks back Tor.com rolled out their Week of Cover Reveals, dropping delectable works of art for the first ten releases in their new, phantasmagoric novella line. Among them was the cover of ENVY OF ANGELS, the first book in my new series Sin du Jour.
You can also click here to read a very cool interview I did with Tor.com about the series and the first book. The elevator pitch: The series follows the eclectic staff of a private catering company in New York that plans events for the hidden world of the supernatural.
When the cover dropped the ebook was also made available for pre-order for both Kindle and Nook. You folks were great about supporting that and spreading the word, but many of you asked (really, you did. I don’t have to lie about that. It’s pretty sweet) when and where you could buy ENVY OF ANGELS in print.
I told you “soon.”
Well, welcome to soon.
I’m pleased to announce you can now pre-order what will be the gorgeous paperback edition of ENVY OF ANGELS from your favorite on-line retailer.

A couple of things here. The first is although you will be able to order the book through your favorite local bookstore when it’s released, as of now the stores won’t be stocking them on their shelves. This is a bold new venture for Tor.com and thus far the only book receiving brick-and-mortar distribution is Seanan McGuire’s EVERY HEART A DOORWAY (which also looks fantastic).
So if you’re waiting to walk into the store and buy ENVY OF ANGELS off the stands, you might as well pre-order it now.
The second thing is despite that fact, pre-orders are still very, very, very important. It’s our chance to show Tor.com you folks are hot for my work and hot for this series. As of now I’m only contracted through the second book, LUSTLOCKED (which will drop January of next year), but I have another five books planned. The series totals seven, each built around a deadly sin.
Sin du Jour. Get it? Clever, right?
So if you want to help me continue a series I’m telling you is going to blow you away (read the blurbs in the Tor.com interview) and one I’ve really come to love, pre-order the book. If you want to see it in stores on the shelf, pre-order the paperback.
And if you’ve already pre-ordered the book in your preferred format, or you’re just not down for the ride, do me a favor and share this post or the link and talk about the book. Signal boosting runs a close second to actual dollars, and I’m grateful for both.
That’s enough out of me. Go forth and consume.
