PridesSpell finalIt’s that time again, folks! A new book with my name on it has dropped, and I hope y’all will be inclined to purchase and read it, perhaps even tell your friends and family about it. This time around the book is PRIDE’S SPELL and it continues the lives, loves, and occasional loss of limb of the Sin du Jour crew. Half the story is set in Los Angeles around the entertainment industry, where I’ve lived and worked for the past six years, so naturally I settle a lot of scores in this one. Also, there’s street tacos.

If you’re joining our program in-progress, PRIDE’S SPELL is the third book in a series of novellas called Sin du Jour I’ve been writing, published by Tor.com Publishing, about a catering company based in Long Island City, New York, that plans and executes events for the secret world of the supernatural co-existing with our own. These stories are filled with my own twisted brand of food, comedy, and action, and feature my absolute favorite cast of chefs, magicians, and monsters of all shapes and varieties.

I’m extremely proud of this installment in the series, and I honestly believe it’s the best book to date. But I’m not going to waste a lot of time in this post selling you. At this point you’re pretty much either in or you’re out.

If you’re out…hey, you gotta do you. No umbrage taken.

But if you’re in, get some and let’s continue this ride together.

Click here to buy PRIDE’S SPELL in gorgeous paperback (I encourage you to always buy in your preferred format, but for what it’s worth this one is where I make the most money from the books).

Click here to buy PRIDE’S SPELL for your Kindle.

Click here to buy the PRIDE’S SPELL audiobook from Audible.

Click here to buy PRIDE’S SPELL for your Nook.

And remember, you can always walk in to your favorite local brick-and-mortar bookstore and order PRIDE’S SPELL from them. If you’re supporting an independent bookshop I definitely encourage you to do so.

I want to thank everyone for continuing to support this series. It means a lot to me, and it’s your positive response/reaction that keeps more Sin du Jour books a’comin’. In case you missed the announcement, Tor.com Publishing has bought the remaining three books I have planned for this initial series, which means you’ll get to read all seven and the rest of the story! YOU all did that as much as me, and I owe you big time for it.

I also want to remind you that the absolute best, most important, most vital thing you can do beyond buying the book is to talk about Sin du Jour to other people. Tell a friend, write a review and rate the book on Amazon (that’s a big one), do the same on Goodreads, tweet about it, Facebook about it, Instagram it, Snapchat it, do whatever you do, just talk about the series in public.

It’s truly the best promotion there is, and it really does make all the difference.

And listen, if you don’t believe me about how good these books are, here’s what reviewers around the internet are saying about PRIDE’S SPELL and Sin du Jour

PridesSpell final

“If you like hilarious characters, beloved figures of your childhood dying horrible deaths, and gorgeous ladies saving the day, please check Pride’s Spell out.” – Stitch’s Media Mix

Pride’s Spell ended up being everything I wanted and expected out of a Sin du Jour novella. It’s ridiculous but fun. Humor, action, insanity and violence are still key ingredients in this madcap urban fantasy series.” – The BiblioSanctum

“This story is full of action, carnage and violence, and plenty of awesome dialogue.” – The Speculative Herald

“I still can’t get enough of Sin du Jour.” – SFF Book Reviews

“Wallace has achieved his goal–these are perfect pieces for when I want to sit down and devour something fun.” – Book Reviews Forevermore

“I would love to know how Wallace’s mind works, but then again, it might be a scary place to visit.” – Booker T’s Farm

“[Sin du Jour is] only getting better over time, and Pride’s Spell is the best one yet. It’s a smart, action-packed, hilariously absurdist romp and probably the most fun thing you can read this summer.” – SF Bluestocking

“Another clever, uproariously funny entry into the Sin du Jour series, with even more non-stop action and supernatural craziness.” – Books, Bones & Buffy
